Change the time by one hour!

Why do we change the time?

  1. In California, the time change is called "Daylight Savings Time". In Spain the time change happened on Easter, but in The United States the time moved 1 hour ahead on Sunday, March 10 (almost 1 month ago)!

In English there is a common expression used when talking about Daylight Savings Time. We say that we "spring ahead" in the Spring (because we move 1 hour ahead), and in the Fall (Autumn) we say that we "fall back" (because the hour moves 1 hour back).

    Time Change
The time changes in Spain and in the UK on the same day. In my house,we normally change the clocks before we go to sleep. Similar to Casey,we say 'Spring forward, fall back' to remember when the clocks go
    forward and backward.

I like the time change because in Spring, we have more daylight and in Autumn we get to sleep one hour extra! However, I don't like the time change because it sometimes confuses me!

  3. WE CHANGE THE TIME
We change the time in October and March. Last October, we changed the time one hour earlier. Now, in March, we change the time one hour later.
I have five clocks at home. On Sunday morning, my parents changed the clocks. I didn´t change the time on my computer because it automatically changes the time. I went to sleep at half past ten, and I got up at half past eight.
In October, I slept eleven hours. In March, I slept nine hours.
I like the change because we can use more light from the sun.
